The program is subject to the following terms and conditions:

The program is subject to the following terms and conditions:

Enrollment is voluntary. Customers must receive electric service from the Company on an eligible rate to enroll in the Program and must continue to maintain service on an eligible rate for the duration of their enrollment. Customers must not participate in any other Company offering that disqualified them from participating in the Program. Customer eligibility to participate in the Program is determined solely by the Company, and participating customers may be de-enrolled at any time at the Company’s discretion. The customer will be required to provide contact information needed to receive mandatory program communication, as described below.

A customer can de-enroll from the program within the first 90 days of enrollment. After 90 days, there is a one-year commitment. You must validate the commitment has been fulfilled prior to de-enrollment. If de-enrolling prior to the one-year commitment, an interaction record must be created with the detailed reason of the de-enrollment.

Enrolled customers agree to participate in "Energy Savings Days." Energy Saving Event Days typically occur on non-holiday weekends between noon and 8 p.m. These event days will take place from June through September and typically will last up to 4 hours. Such events will be determined by the Company or in response to an electrical emergency. Enrolled customers may opt out of one Energy Savings Day event per year by calling 877-789-9883.

Enrolled customers agree to allow an authorized Consumers Energy licensed contractor to install an AC Peak Cycling device on my home near my outside air conditioning unit. I understand that this device will allow Consumers Energy to reduce the air conditioner cycling run time by at least 50% during periods of high electricity demand from June through September on non-holiday weekdays between noon and 8 p.m., but understand that events could occur at any time in response to an electric emergency.

Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing your gift card. This processing may take longer if required documentation or information on the application is missing. Please call 877-789-9883 if you have any questions about the device or gift card. While enrolled in the Program, customers will continue to receive participation bill credits four times per year. Credits will appear on the June, July, August, and September bills. If you have any questions about your bill credit, please call 800-477-5050.

Customer agrees to receive mandatory program communications and to provide and maintain valid contact information for such communications. By enrolling, customer accepts the Company’s Electronic Communications Terms & Conditions including but not limited to those provisions regarding live and automated voice notifications and text messages when the customer provides a phone number (both land line and wireless). Network and other data or text charges may apply.
